Does Celium handle Gift Aid for UK charities? +

Yes — Gift Aid is built into the Events checkout. Ticket buyers declare in one click, and you get a ready-made HMRC-compliant report. Available on Ticketed Events only.

Can I embed sign-up on my own website? +

Yes — paste a single line of code to embed a branded sign-up widget. Customers never leave your site.

For groups

Can I set up recurring weekly activities? +

Absolutely. Create a template once (location, groups, times) and it auto-generates every week. Members sign up in advance and get automatic reminders.

Can I split members into sub-groups? +

Yes — create as many groups per session as you need (e.g. by pace, skill level, age, or session type) with optional capacity limits. Members choose their group when they sign up.

Do you support waivers and emergency contacts? +

Yes — toggle them per activity. Only activities that need them show the prompts at sign-up. The data is stored against the member's registration so organisers can access it.

How does check-in work on the day? +

Organisers use the mobile app to scan QR codes at the meeting point. Live headcount, mark no-shows, keep a record.

Is it free to use? +

Founding organisers and groups get lifetime free access. After the early adopter programme, we charge a small fee only on paid events or paid activities. Free activities and free events are always free to organise.

Can I run events and a group from the same account? +

Yes. Every account can create both ticketed events and recurring activities. You pick the type when you start creating.
